Business, Measuring The Pay Gap And Why WACL Are Still Making Waves About Reporting
A WACL webinar on International Women’s Day 2021
Following the recent success of our campaign to reinstate Gender Pay Gap reporting and the news that the EHRC is looking to instate Ethnicity and Disability Pay Gap reporting by the end of the year too, we’re delighted to say we’re taking the next step immediately with an online WACL debate on International Women’s Day.
Our event explores why the original EHRC team felt the introduction of reporting was such a crucial step in achieving gender equality in the workplace and how business leaders blazing an equality trail in their own organisations have used reporting to focus on company diversity. This session will include the best advice for organisations when tackling diversity and the gap, how to use reporting proactively and effectively to measure progress and how to tackle unhelpful behaviour that holds companies back.
Our truly stellar panel comprises:
Panel Chair: Ann Francke OBE, CEO CMI, 30% Club Ambassador, WACL member and Author, Create a Gender-Balanced Workplace
Andrew Geoghegan, Global Consumer Planning Director, Diageo and progressive male advocate for change.
Heather Melville, OBE, Director & Head of Client Experience at PwC, Chair and NED, CMI Women, NED Enterprise Enfield, Patron WIBF
Dame Cilla Snowball, Former Chair, Women’s Business Council, Former WACL President, Governor at Wellcome Trust, Portfolio Non-Exec, ex-CEO and Chairman, AMV BBDO*
