Members Only event - Film screening

Oct 20, 2015 – 7:00 pm

Jayne Barr, Events Chair and Karen Stacey, of DCM have concocted between them an exciting, and may I say beautifully well themed start to the WACL Events Season.  This is a free offer to WACL members and a guest (male or female ) on Tuesday, October 20th

You are invited to an exclusive screening of ‘Suffragette’, a new movie based on the story of Emmeline Pankhurst; a woman who knew a thing or two about speaking up.  It is directed by Sarah Gavron and written by Abi Morgan and stars Meryl Streep as Emmeline Pankhurst, Helena Bonham Carter as Edith New and Carey Mulligan as Maud Watts.

The screening will be at the beautiful Electric Cinema in Notting Hill Gate. It seats only 85, so bookings will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of 2 tickets per member.

There is no charge for this event as DCM are generously hosting the evening.

Drinks and nibbles will be served at The Electric Cinema from 6pm. The film will start at 6.50pm.

Book your tickets now by following this link  and using the password, VOTE.

See you there, I hope.
