Workshop – The Art of Influencing & Persuasion – Training event – 2nd July 2012
The Art of Influencing & Persuasion
We all like it when things go the way we planned. Whether this be pitching an idea to colleagues or advising clients we need to ensure that our voices are heard and that we get our viewpoints across in a clear and focused way. Working in a highly creative environment, we are inevitably part of an eclectic mix of characters and ego’s and so sometimes we might feel that we’re competing to get our voices heard. Whether you’re bounding in confidence or have a more discreet disposition there are a number of considerations that will help us put points across succinctly and in a compelling way. Developing this kind of awareness will help us be in control of how our ideas are received and moved-forward. Ultimately we can help ourselves to assert or increase our authority and get the most out of the people around us to get things done.
At the coming WACL Workshop you will hear from a distinguished group of industry experts who will impart practical, experienced based advice on what you can do to help you hold your own in meetings and manage relationships in a way that will help you gather support for your causes and also support for yourself personally.
The speakers are:
