Gathering Training event

After a very successful ‘Speed Mentoring’ Gathering in April, booking is now open for the third WACL Gathering of the year, a Diversity Debate.
The evening promises to deliver a lively discussion about diversity, brands and marketing, both the reality and the opportunity – all brought to you via an inspiring and (naturally) diverse panel.
The UK is experiencing significant evolutions in traditional gender roles and is becoming more and more multicultural. While it is making strides around inclusivity for those who are LGBT (lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender) and those who have a disability, it still lacks sufficient support.
The panel at this WACL Gathering will discuss the issues around diversity and what it means for brands and marketing in 2014.
Is it the role of brands to reflect and represent society? Do we do it well enough currently? What are the opportunities and risks for businesses and brands that embrace the realities of these shifting trends?

As always, all funds raised from Gatherings go towards WACL’s Future Leaders Fund, a training bursary offered to young women to help them enhance their chances of getting to the top ranks of their organisations.

Timings: Doors open at 6.15pm. The Diversity Debate will kick-off at 6.45pm sharp, so please arrive by 6.35pm to ensure you have time to register. Drinks and light snacks will be provided - and the evening will finish by 8.30pm.
