Menopause in the Workplace
March 3, 2022 @ 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm
The UK is losing around 14 million workdays every year due to menopause symptoms and a staggering 900,00 women are said to have quit their jobs due to lack of support as they go through the menopause.
Menopause is hardly something new, so why is there stigma and lack of support for the impact on physical and mental health? What is certain is that a lot more could be done to support people going through menopause. Off the back of our successful chat last year on the topic, we’re following up with ‘Menopause in the Workplace’, a panel discussion with MP Caroline Nokes, My Menopause Centre’s Dr Clare Spencer, WPP’s Mark Read, WACL’s Melissa Roberston and our wonderful chair Sonoo Singh, co-founder of Creative-Salon.
Come and join us, share your views and experiences on March 3rd between 12:15 and 13:15 and see what the menopause in the workplace really means and what can be done to make things better.
