Private viewing | What Women Want
In case you missed this event in the recent newsletter, to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of (some) women in the UK getting the right to vote, the #WhatWomenWant programme has been created by Kantar and an outstanding steering committee including many of our wonderful WACL members – whatwomenwant.uk.com/steering-commitee
This extraordinary exhibition brings together a century of outstanding examples and milestones in marketing to women, in one. Throughout the past 100 years, the marketing industry has been accused of contributing to the diminishing view of women by Society. Nonetheless, over the decades, there have been standout examples of brands which have consistently focused on issues that matter to women, giving women a voice, power and confidence. What Women Want is an exhibition of those standout moments with a vision to elevate them and challenge brands and their agencies to live up to these standards – for a future of true gender equality. For information on the initiative: whatwomenwant.uk.com
We at WACL will be the first to view the exhibition on the 22nd November from 8.30 am – 10 am at Noho Studios, 46 Great Titchfield St, Fitzrovia, London W1W 7QA
There’ll be 80 places available for this breakfast viewing and they will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis for WACL members plus one guest. There’s no significant charge thanks to Kantar, but we’re asking for £10 to cover all costs. Any monies left over will go to our chosen charities.
